Well, I don't have much time left to email this week (what else is new, right?... I was doing pretty good for a while there... oh well). Anyway, this week was pretty crazy! We ended up moving because of some craziness with our apartment (don't worry, we're fine). So, they couldn't find a member for us to live with in our area, so they sent us to live with the closest sisters to Rathdrum.. which just so happen to be the Post Falls 3rd sisters, and I just so happen to be living in the same EXACT apartment that I lived in when I served in the same EXACT ward..... like 6 months ago... so... that's crazy and weird that I live there, but I'm not proselyting in that area. So strange. We're not sure how long we will be there, but most likely for the rest of the transfer at least. So, in case you don't know what that is (so you don't have to look back in some ancient documents that are my weekly emails)...

Because of moving and everything, we didn't have much time to do missionary work this week which was super unfortunate because it's so close to Christmas and so many more people's hearts are softened this time of year and it's the best to be able to be out preaching His gospel.. BUT, we did have a pretty amazing experience last night.
We were going to go contact a referral one of our member's had given us out in Hauser, and so we went and as we were praying, we had an impression that we should go and carol to the referral to break the ice instead of just saying who we are right away... just Sister Nickle and I... so, we did and this lady got SO excited. She freaked out... went and grabbed all of her children, proclaimed, "I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT CHRISTMAS CAROLERS!!" and then she proceeded to give us both 2 hugs. She ended up not being interested in us coming back, but she definitely had her heart softened. She then gave us a referral to go and talk to one of her neighbors, and pretty soon we got 6 referrals in one night and ended up being able to find some really amazing potential investigators because of it. Yes, it was a little nerve racking just the two of us, but it was beyond amazing to witness each and every one of their hearts that were originally not super excited at seeing us at their door on a Sunday night to soften, and we left with a message proclaimed and they all had smiles on their faces. It was such a much needed, and much appreciated miracle.
I know the Gospel is true. I know that my family will be together again. I know that through the birth, life, teachings, Atonement, death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, we can overcome anything.. because He did first. I am grateful for the opportunity it is this week (and always) to celebrate the birth of Him who gave His all for us to have all that we can. I love you all so much. Merry Christmas, and may your day be "merry and bright" as you more fully follow Him, our Savior and Light.
LOVE YOU ALL! Thanks for all you do and your amazing examples to me! <3 Merry Christmas!
